Doha, Qatar – 27 February 2025: JMJ Group Holding has officially launched Nafees Batteries, a state-of-the-art lead-acid battery recycling facility in Mesaieed, Qatar. The facility, inaugurated by Sheikh Jabor Bin Mansour Bin Jabor Bin Jassim Al Thani, will support Qatar’s green industrial growth by transforming used lead-acid batteries into high-purity lead alloys, reducing environmental impact and contributing to the nation’s sustainability efforts.
The event was attended by key figures, including representatives from Manateq Economic Zones Company and the Ministry of Municipality, who toured the groundbreaking facility.
Chairman and Managing Director Sheikh Jabor Bin Mansour Bin Jabor Bin Jassim Al Thani stated: “Nafees Batteries reflects our commitment to sustainable industrial development, turning waste into valuable resources and reinforcing Qatar’s leadership in responsible manufacturing.”
