JMJ Group Holding Partners with QD Factory and Nafees Batteries at RTS 2025 Conference

Doha, Qatar – 26 June 2025: JMJ Group Holding, a leading investment and development company in Qatar, participated as a Platinum Sponsor at the Recycling Towards Sustainability (RTS) Conference & Exhibition held at Raffles Doha on June 25–26, 2025. The company was joined by its strategic partners, QD Factory and Nafees Batteries, to showcase their commitment to Qatar's green economy.

The event, themed “From Waste to Wealth,” brought together industry leaders and sustainability advocates to discuss circular economy solutions. JMJ Group Holding highlighted its contributions to sustainability with the innovative QD Factory recycling facility and the newly inaugurated Nafees Batteries plant – Qatar’s first large-scale lead-acid battery recycling plant.

Sheikh Jabor Bin Mansour Bin Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of JMJ Group Holding, emphasized the company’s responsibility towards sustainable practices, stating, “At JMJ Group Holding, sustainability is not a choice, but a responsibility. With Nafees Batteries now operational in Mesaieed, Qatar’s move toward a circular economy is set to accelerate, converting used batteries into high-purity lead alloy ingots. Meanwhile, QD Factory continues to advance material recovery and recycling across the country.

Harishanker Vathukkat, Business Development Manager at QD Factory, shared insights on industrial recycling during a session on Waste Treatment Projects, underscoring their role in Qatar’s green transformation.
